Why Maula Sabra?

Maula Sabra is a resilient, tightly knit community that has long endured gaps in public healthcare. With high rates of preventable illness, maternal health risks, and limited infrastructure, it urgently needs an integrated health solution.

Our work here is guided by local insights and driven by community participation. Telemedicine consultations and referrals will connect patients with specialists without long trips to the city.

Winter 2020 · Shahdra

Spreading warmth, one family at a time

In the winter of 2020, PakTree went beyond reforestation to support families facing harsh weather. A social media appeal for clothing and money raised PKR 40,000 and helped us reach more than 7 families with winter essentials, warmth and shelter.

Impact highlights

Where the funds went

1

Bedding for a vulnerable family

With the Nadia Khanum Foundation, we reached a widow and her divorced daughter in urgent need of winter bedding. The funds provided blankets and mattresses for warmth through the cold nights.

2

A door for protection

A family living behind only a curtain faced serious health risks from the cold. Part of the funds built a secure door, giving them protection and peace of mind.

Identities of those supported are never disclosed, in line with our commitment to dignity and privacy.

Clothing & essentials distribution

Support for women holding their families together

Many of the women we met were caring for family members recovering from addiction and were the sole earners in their households. Support included:

Packets of new clothing Groceries and essential medicines Cash assistance for urgent needs

These women are the quiet strength of the nation: providing, surviving, and standing tall for their children.

Why Shahdra?

Shahdra is deeply affected by drug trafficking, inadequate healthcare and limited access to basic resources. Though modest in scale, this drive brought relief to families who are often overlooked.

Looking ahead

This drive is the start of a broader campaign for families facing extreme winters. Future phases will reach more locations and more people.

Green Awareness

Know. Choose. Plant a greener tomorrow.

A home, rebuilt

When flash floods struck in 2025, one family lost the roof over their heads. PakTree supporters came together and raised more than PKR 40,000 to help rebuild their home.
